Our wedding would not have been possible without Amie! As someone with a chronic illness, the thought of planning a wedding seemed impossible so after deciding we needed the help of a planner, we looked around and found Amie. We started on a zoom call and immediately knew we were in good hands. She was there from the very beginning, all the way to the end and it was a pleasure getting to know her over those 12 months. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry which is really a priceless asset when you've not been around many weddings and you're trying to save money. I can't imagine what it would have been like to do it all ourselves. She took so much of the stress out of the experience. The day ran so smoothly and it was incredible not having to think about any of the logistics while enjoying the day. I never thought a planner was necessary until planning my own wedding and now I tell everyone just what a difference it makes. Whether you're needing more hands on help with full planning from start to finish or even just on the day coordination, I highly recommend Amie and her team. **Vendor review** Our DJ team has worked on several weddings with the incredible event managers from ARLAI and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for anything from a bit of help on the day, right through to the full wedding/event planning service. One of the key aspects of a wedding planner/coordinator is communicating with other vendors like us, and we find ARLAI very easy to communicate with and well planned in advance.

Amie was so amazing and extremely diligent when helping us plan the styling aspects and on the day coordination schedules. She was lovely to work with and helped ease the load off us the month leading upto the wedding by liaising with the vendors and doing check ins with them. On the day, Alyssa handled things so amazingly and kept things running so smoothly! I cannot rave enough about how perfectly the decor and tables were set up! It was a vision coming to life! We had the partial planning service and styling for our wedding day with Amie and it was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. We had a number of meetings with Amie prior to our wedding day which helped us to plan everything thoroughly and made it so much easier to get everything organised. On the day, Amie took care of the styling (which looked stunning!) and was also there as our on the day coordinator to make sure that everything ran smoothly. This meant that there was nothing we needed to worry about on the big day and we could simply focus on the wedding, spending time with our guests and enjoying ourselves. Amie came in with 3.5 weeks to go for our private property/DIY wedding and helped to pull everything together and put us completely at ease. She helped me feel like I had everything under control, helped us through the process of losing our photographer, and then on the day - was just the most incredible support - running around, picking up bridesmaids, taking our dresses over to the venue, finding my mum for photos - absolutely anything we needed - and then she also set up all our decor, packed it all up and not to mention, looked absolutely fabulous doing so. I truly cannot recommend Amie enough - she allowed us to truly be present and enjoy both the planning process, and the day itself. I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding coordinated by Amie. Whilst the bride and groom were very happy, there were multiple instances where the bridal party were barked at, spoken down to and made to feel like naughty children during the event for simply enjoying the festivities. Im sure Amie is very good at her job, as the event did run smoothly, however I feel how someone interacts with the happy couples nearest and dearest on their wedding day is very important when considering how people reflect back on their wedding day. Putting a 3, but I would put a 2.5 if I could.

A true godsend, she helped keep everything on track, was always willing to jump on a call (even late in the evenings), and managed the behind-the-scenes details with confidence and care. It was everything I dreamed of and more That said, I do feel it's important to mention that on the day of the wedding, there were some interactions that left myself, my bridal party, and a few guests feeling uncomfortable. I was made aware by multiple people, including my mother, that she came across as quite rude and impatient at times. I understand wedding days can be high-pressure situations, and mine had its fair share of chaos, but some of the passive-aggressive remarks felt unnecessary and took away from what was otherwise a joyful day. Overall, I’m still incredibly happy with the end result, grateful for her efforts, and thankful for the care she put into planning. I just wish the same level of warmth and professionalism shown during the planning process had carried through on the big day.
