THE BRIEF
Someone to assist with Ahelee’s 20th Birthday
Mainly family To be held in their backyard/at home
Mum would be catering – traditional Indian cuisine, chat cart
Needed help with layout, styling and configuration as they had never had an event this big and wanted the layout to be seamless flow
Needed some additional staff to assist with cleaning and serving
THE PROBLEM
Wanted to hide certain “ugly” parts of the house
Assistance with setup
Smaller budget
On the day it was super windy and tablecloths and centrepieces were blowing everywhere
THE SOLUTION
We conducted a site visit to ensure we took accurate measurements and could work out the best configuration for tables and marquee as a backup
Certain aspects they wanted to “hide” and accent
Supplied some of our staff to assist with serving, keeping area clean and dishwashing
They DIYed they’re styling based off the brief we had discussed
Used double sided tape to tape the table cloths down and stones from the garden to weight the vases
