Luci’s Bridal Shower
THE BRIEF
Needed a champagne tower with chocolate draping tablecloth
In the lead up got very overwhelmed and added on coordination assistance
Wanted EVERY DETAIL PERFECT
Very specific on the vibe of the day
The needs for the space, the overall feeling and theming of the event
Linens MUST be deep chocolate SILK
THE PROBLEM
When we couldn’t find the perfect tablecloth online.
Miscommunication on package booked from other stylist – thought she was getting 3 mirrored plinths but stylist informed client 2 weeks prior she only had one…
Two days prior to the event the custom wishing well made by other stylist was sent in a photo and was a light chocolate satin not dark, also wasn’t measured properly and was too big to sit on the plinth as the client had requested. Looked odd overflowing edge of the plinth and client was not happy.
Welcome sign was too big and blocking doorway.
THE SOLUTION
We went to 5 fabric stores to find the right material in order to custom make a cloth for her so it PERFECTLY fit the brief
Hired OUR mirrored plinths x 2 – we brought 3 on the day incase which all ended up being used as the brief given to the florist initially showed additional space.
The day prior to the event using leftover fabric from the tablecloth we custom made a wishing well to fit perfectly on the plinth for the client.
Left welcome sign there for content and then informed the client we would move it after she entered.
